CAN NON-GOLFERS RIDE ALONG?
Absolutely! Our non-golfing rider fee is $20.00 when available. We require this fee since riders are taking the place of a golfer, and typically would require us to provide an extra golf cart for your group.
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE CAN I BOOK A TEE TIME?
Members – 21 days
Non-Members – 14 days
CAN WE PLAY ALONE AS A TWOSOME?
Running Deer Golf Club reserves the right to pair you with other players when course conditions and capacity require it.
CAN KIDS PLAY?
Yes, junior golfers are welcome on our course. Please limit one junior per adult. Golfers under the age of 11 are not allowed on the course without an adult.
DO YOU HAVE A DRESS CODE POLICY?
Standard Dress Code Policy – Proper golf attire is required at all times for all players and riders to include both collared and/or tailored collarless shirts for men and recognized golf fashion for women. Golf shoes with soft spikes or athletic shoes required. T-shirts, swimwear, tank tops, jeans or cut-offs are not appropriate attire.
IS THERE A PRACTICE RANGE?
Running Deer Golf Club has a great driving range. We also have a full practice putting green and short-game area. The short game area is free to use if you have your own equipment. Driving Range balls can be purchased in the Pro Shop.
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
Tee Time Reservations must be canceled no later than 24 hours prior to scheduled tee time. If the reservation is not canceled by this time, the credit card holder will be responsible for the full greens fees with the credit card being automatically charged.
WHAT IS THE EXPECTED PACE OF PLAY?
Under normal circumstances, the expected pace of play on Running Deer Golf Club is four hours and 20 minutes for 18 holes. Examples of abnormal conditions include days when inclement weather may cause delays, wet conditions may cause golf car restrictions, or a special event is playing the golf course.
DO YOU ALLOW FIVE-SOMES?
Groups of more than four players must be approved by the professional staff. Keeping groups to four players or less improves the pace of play and helps keep rounds more enjoyable for all of our customers. We do not allow groups of 6 or more on the golf course at any time.
DO YOU HAVE RENTAL CLUBS?
Yes, Running Deer Golf Club maintains sets with regular shafts for men and women. Right and left hand. Rental sets are $25/set for 18-holes.
DO I NEED A TEE TIME?
While walk-on players are always welcome, tee times are strongly recommended in order to minimize any inconvenience that waiting to tee off may cause.
ARE RANGE BALLS INCLUDED IN THE PRICE?
Yes, range balls are included in the greens fee price.
IS A GOLF CART INCLUDED IN THE PRICE?
Yes, the price of a golf cart is included in the listed rack rate.
CAN I PLAY ALONE OR WILL I BE PAIRED WITH OTHER PLAYERS?
Running Deer Golf Club reserves the right to pair you with other players when course conditions and capacity require it.
CAN I BRING AN ICE CHEST ON THE GOLF COURSE?
Personal coolers are not allowed on the golf course. All food & beverage consumed must be purchased through Running Deer Golf Club. We recommend grabbing a drink in Seven Tap-Tavern before your round. Beverage carts are also out on the course.
IS GOLF CLUB SHARING PERMITTED?
Due to pace of play concerns all players must have their own bag with their own set of clubs.
DO YOU ACCEPT PLAYER PASS MEMBERSHIP?
NO, Running Deer Golf Club along with all of the 7 Ron Jaworski Golf courses do not accept the Players Pass Membership. Running Deer nor RJG have no legal agreement with the company and/or website Playerspass.com. No memberships and/or purchases from this company will be accepted. The Philadelphia PGA has filed a complaint against Playerspass.com. We apologize for any inconvenience this may bring you, but please contact Playerspass.com if you purchased the membership through them.
WHAT IF I HAVE TO CANCEL MY TEE TIME OR REDUCE MY NUMBER OF PLAYERS?
If you have to cancel your tee time or reduce the number of players please call the golf shop directly at 856-358-2000 ext 1 and we will be happy to assist you with your changes as long as it is within the cancellation policy.
WHY DO YOU REQUIRE A CREDIT CARD WITH MY TEE TIME RESERVATION?
We do require a credit card for all reservations due to our cancellation policy. If you are unable to make your tee time, call our golf shop directly 24 hours in advance and your card will not be charged.
Policies
Tee Times
Members tee time booking may be done 3 weeks in advance. Public tee time booking may be done 1 week in advance. All players must arrive/check in at least 30 minutes prior to their tee time.
Dress Code
Shirts must be worn at all times on the golf course and within the social area of the Club. Men’s shirts must have collars. Shorts must be of bermuda-length or a style specifically designed for golf. Golf shoes must be worn on the course. Soft spike preferred. All the following types of clothing are prohibited on the golf course: denim pants (so-called “jeans”) of all types and designs; cutoffs, running shorts; t-shirts, tank tops and sweatshirts.
Cancellation Policy
We have implemented a 24-hour cancellation policy. No groups may have more than 4 players per tee time. Players who short show or no show may be subject to charges and/or reservation privilege suspension.
