Favorite aspect of work for RJG: The best part of being part of the RJG team is having the ability to get to know the members of our club on a more personal level, like knowing what clubs they play, what equipment/gear they prefer, and how we as a team serve them on a better basis.
And the Most Inspiring part: The most inspiring part of my job as Head Professional is having the ability to grow the game that I have loved since I was five years old. Whether it be giving a member a small tip about their swing, talking golf in the golf shop, to attending to their needs on a daily basis, working in this business is a blessing where you have a career based on a sport that you love.
Favorite thing to do when not at Running Deer: Coaching my high school golf team at my alma mater Roman Catholic High School in Philadelphia and announcing their football and basketball games there as well as Jefferson University’s basketball games.
Favorite Golf Course: Pinehurst Resort in North Carolina
Strange/Funny Childhood Belief: That I would someday own a replica of KITT from the TV Show Knight Rider
Fun Fact: I have announced four high school playoff games at the famous Palestra in Philly since 2007.
Favorite Quote: “Your dreams are the blueprint of reality”-Greg Norman
What advice would you give a candidate who wants to join our team of superstars? Be ready to compete on a daily basis
If I weren’t so damn good at my job, I’d probably be___ A history teacher and athletic director at Roman Catholic High School.
When did the golf industry passion start? My first introduction to the golf business began in 1989 at Philadelphia’s Walnut Lane Golf Club as a 14-year old cart kid. I held various positions there until 1998. That first day on the job there was a golf outing with 150 people, and I was hooked.
